Chef Lindsay's Ladies Cook & Connect at Nirvana is back September 8th at 6pm. After the rush of summer, we’re so ready to gather around the table again with old friends and welcome new women into the beautiful circle that has grown through these dinners. This evening has always been about more than cooking dinner for me. It’s about women connecting, creating, sharing and simply having a place to belong. Over the last 3 years, women from 15 to 97 years old, from different generations, backgrounds and walks of life, have joined us, each bringing something uniquely their own to the table. Come participate as little or as much as feels good to you in creating a special dinner to be shared. There is beauty in the simplicity of setting the table, folding napkins, arranging flowers, helping cook or plate the meal, or simply pouring a glass of wine and pulling up a chair to visit. Each small part becomes something more when shared. We’ll make dinner, serve it family-style, and settle in around the table, where every woman has the opportunity to introduce herself and share a little of who she is. There’s no expectation to be anything other than yourself. One table, women of all walks of life & generations, sharing stories, talents and perspectives.
